Bailey & Ehrenberg Welcomes Kate T. Robinson to the Firm

Bailey & Ehrenberg PLLC is pleased to announce the addition of Kate T. Robinson to the firm.

Kate concentrates her practice on assisting clients with the design and implementation of qualified and non-qualified deferred compensation, retirement and welfare benefits plans. She frequently drafts and reviews employment and independent contractor agreements, restrictive covenants, employment policies and employee handbooks, severance arrangements and other employee benefit plans.

A graduate of the University of Maryland Carey School of Law, Kate subsequently earned an LL.M in Taxation (including a Certificate in Employee Benefits Law) from Georgetown University Law Center in 2014.

Prior to joining Bailey & Ehrenberg, Kate worked as an associate attorney for the Global Compensation, Benefits and ERISA practice group at Paul Hastings LLP. At Paul Hastings, Kate represented a mix of private and public corporations, private equity firms and investment banks with respect to ERISA and employment matters arising in the context of M&A transactions.

Kate joins the deep bench of employee benefits attorneys at Bailey & Ehrenberg PLLC, which holds a National Tier 1 ranking for its ERISA litigation practice from U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms.” This ranking was based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer review from leading attorneys in their field, and review of additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process. To be eligible for a ranking, a law firm must have at least one lawyer listed in the 23rd Edition of The Best Lawyers in America list for that particular location and specialty.

Bailey & Ehrenberg PLLC provides legal representation to both individual and corporate clients. The firm has historically focused on litigation, employment law, and employee benefits law, but it has broadened its emphasis to include corporate bankruptcy, white collar criminal defense and corporate investigations, as well as the unique legal matters confronted by new and emerging businesses.

Welcome to the firm, Kate!
